Changelog
What's new in each version of Look MCP. The version you download here updates itself; get the latest.
Version 1.0.2
- Smaller download. Look MCP now takes about half the space on your Mac. Nothing else has changed.
Version 1.0.1
- Guided step by step. Your AI can mark several things at once with numbered rings. A ring stays until you've clicked there, and your AI gets the result by itself, so the next hint comes without you typing anything.
- Copy instead of typing. When something has to be entered, the ring's label shows the text with a Copy button.
- A status box shows how many steps are done and when your AI is looking, with Done and Stop Sharing. Your AI says there when it's finished.
- Share Once or Share for 5 Minutes. Two buttons in every request replace the checkbox. Five minutes are for the AI app that asked; any other has to ask you.
- Never an old picture. A window that was minimized or hidden is only shown as it is now, and a picture is taken once the window has stopped changing.
Version 1.0
- Show your AI a window. When it asks, you pick the window it may see. It gets a picture of that window and nothing else.
- It points, you click. Your AI can put a ring with a short label on your screen to show where it means. It can't click or type.
- Once, or for five minutes. A window is shared for one picture, unless you tick “Keep sharing it for 5 minutes”. The menu bar icon is filled in while a window is shared, and you can stop at any time.
- No Screen Recording permission. Look MCP uses macOS's own window picker; your pick is the permission.
